“Snapperhero” will air exclusively on Snapchat as the first scripted entertainment series to premiere on Snapchat from AT&T.

The focus of this social partnership is for millenials to “co-create” superhero mini-series episodes in order to spur up innovative consumer engagement. The social media celebrities of this mini-series will solicit fans via Snapchat, YouTube, Vine and Instagram for content ideas, costume designs and creative superpowers. With an exciting new platform in place for AT&T’s goal of producing more consumer engagement, the show’s 12 episodes are expected to run between 100 and 200 seconds over a four-week period. After their launch, these documentary style episodes will live outside of Snapchat’s grasp and possibly on other social networks, which is an interesting tactic for continued consumer involvement with the scripted series.
