The World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers and Budweiser teamed up during the NBA playoffs to bring basketball fans a chance to experience the game more than one way.

All fans who entered the Cavs playoff game on May 19th were given a cardboard VR headset. Fans then were encouraged to download the Cavaliers official app. Within the app, fans could view 4 different VR videos or they could tour the Cavaliers’ locker room through Budweiser’s VR YouTube channel. I think this was a really unique way for Budweiser to spark fan engagement on their YouTube channel as well the Cavs and their team app. It’s one-of-a-kind, creative idea. I almost forgot to mention that the VR headset doubled as a holder for your beer.
