Busch Beer is hosting a weekly “Trivia Happy Hour” on its Facebook page in order to raise money for bartenders who are struggling financially due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On March 27th at 6 p.m. CT, Busch live-streamed its first trivia show, hosted by “Busch Guy,” the brand’s spokesperson. Throughout these weekly shows, participants have the chance to win a variety of prizes, including branded swag, tickets to NASCAR races, a fridge full of Busch and a flat-screen TV. Busch will also be offering discount codes for Drizly, the alcohol delivery service, for two hours before the show begins so fans can be stocked up and ready for happy hour. The brand will be donating $50,000 to the U.S. Bartenders Guild and has also promised to match donations up to an additional $50,000.
During these unprecedented times, brands are having to become even more creative in the ways they connect with consumers. Through these virtual trivia nights, Busch has been able to provide a source of entertainment to people during a time when they’re unable to go to bars and restaurants, while simultaneously supporting a social cause that’s close to their hearts.
