Coca-Cola remains as digitally relevant as ever after hosting fan screenings of the new Captain America film and covering the events via Snapchat influencers, Tristan Tales and CJ OperAmericano.

 
The influencers continually updated Coca-Cola’s Snapchat throughout the screenings last Thursday in New York and Los Angeles. They narrated their opinions and interviewed moviegoers on their allegiance to either Iron Man or Captain America, all while promoting Coca-Cola products. One Snap featured Tristan Tales telling viewers he was on his way to grab popcorn and a Coke before heading into the theater, as a picture of Coca-Cola’s limited edition Marvel-themed cans was shown.

Each of the customized cans features one of the Marvel Avengers, making them a collectible item for Marvel enthusiasts. The brand’s interest in hiring social influencers and using Snapchat as a marketing platform highlights its commitment to younger consumers and connecting to those fans on their preferred platforms.
