Coca-Cola is rolling out its new mini .15L (or 5 oz) cans in a big way with mini kiosks set up in high-traffic areas in five German cities. They are selling – not sampling – the minis along with other miniature products, and initial results show the kiosks are selling an average of 380 cans per day – 278% more than a typical vending machine. And this just isn’t impacting the German market – using a 1-minute video and leveraging social PR, the kiosk stunt has garnered exponential attention in the United States.
