Mercedes-Benz, the German automobile manufacturer, has taken the original concept of build-your-own car and created a digital campaign that matches its vehicles’ appeal. Utilizing it’s most engaging social platform (Instagram), Mercedes has launched a new way to build your own customized GLA all with a few clicks on your mobile phone. The concept utilizes links through multiple Instagram accounts and tagging across photos to allow users to pick colors, wheels, grills and more. In total, there are 132 possible configurations which allows users freedom and flexibility that feels almost as good as driving the car.
