Each year, PNC Bank creates a Christmas Price Index by pricing out each gift from The 12 Days of Christmas.
To celebrate this tradition, PNC constructed the world’s first life-sized gingerbread bank branch. It took over 5,000 pounds of gingerbread, but Philadelphians were able to come and learn about the gifts and their prices from the 12 columns created by pastry chefs. There was a working ginger-bread coated ATM (where you could take out cash, not cookies) as well as complimentary hot chocolate and treats. PNC made learning about the economy fun and delicious!
