One of the biggest movie launches of the year, Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens, has fans absolutely buzzing within digital media.
The mega movie has a lot of hype behind it, including a new partnership with Twitter using what could be the hottest digital trend: #Emojis. What’s really interesting about this use of emojis is that it is generated from a hashtag (i.e. #StormTrooper) rather than located within the device’s keyboard. Star Wars and Twitter have only released three emojis but plan to release more throughout the year until the movie is released.
