As part of this Tuesday’s tree lighting ceremony at Madison Square Park, Taste of Home Magazine and Kelloggs are inviting consumers to visit Gingerbread Boulevard to see three, life-sized gingerbread houses, sample tasty holiday treats and vote for their favorite house by texting or using the #TOHBLVD.
Each house stands 6’ x 6’ x 4’ and celebrates a different holiday flavor: Peppermint Place, Cocoa Cottage and Cinnamon Shack. All participants will be entered to win a $5,000 prize and will receive a special holiday Rice Krispies Treats recipe. Kelloggs has released seasonal packaging that promotes gingerbread house recipes as well. The partnership connects with audience insights about mobile usage and holiday preferences, while enhancing both brands’ relationships with their consumers.
